The wok is a Chinese classic - an ancient design that has not changed for centuries. The ancient bowl-shaped wok economically exploits heat on a gas or electric range. Universal in its use, the wok is a saute pan, sauce pan or deep fryer and it's great for steaming and parboiling too. The wok is truly a versatile all-around cooking implement, perfect for all of your everyday cooking needs. Woks are made of many different materials. The material for even heat distribution and heat retention is cold-rolled carbon steel, the material used to make our woks. Our classic wok comes in a flat or round bottom with a stay-cool-to-the-touch wood handle and a wood helper grip handle. It comes with seasoning and cleaning instructions.
